MFA in DIY
I'm Damien Luxe, queerdo.
In 2009 I began this as a #1 project photo-documenting the world of the weird around me, sharing that liminal space available to Those Who Travel and Those Who Look Hard and Those Who Give Face; and as #2 documentation on my self-directed DIY MFA program, making it up as I go along.
Because most of what you can pay someone $50k+ to learn you can teach yourself. And many more things will never be in schools. And because the world out there is to be lived in, engaged with, and fought for.
